Spicy Food Quick Fix at Kimchi

I have a love and hate relationship with spicy food. There are times when I crave for just about anything spicy but when i get to eat one, I would just give up after the food hit my tolerance level.  And in those times when I kinda salivate for it, I go to any Korean restaurant to get the quick fix. There are numerous restaurants which specialize in Korean food that are still open in the wee hours of the morning. I get off from work usually at one in the morning and I go to any of the three Korean restaurants nearest to my office. My choices are always Oppa, Yisan, and Kimchi and these are all in and or near Walking Street which is just outside Clark here in Pampanga. The three restos offer just about the same menu and they just differ in the quality and taste of the food and in the ambiance or vibe of their places. I have just recently eaten at Kimchi with a few of my friends. Kimchi is a 4-storey restaurant and bar. The first two floors are where there actual restaurant is. The

Wakanatsu Yakiniku, As Quaint as it Gets - A Short Review

I had not eaten in a Japanese restaurant for the longest time and so I did not really know what to expect when my sister and her husband invited me, along with my mom and my sister-in-law and my niece, to eat in Wakanatsu Yakiniku, a quaint Jap resto. I, of course, know of sushis, sashimis, and tempuras and that's about it. Wakanatsu Yakiniku is located on the second floor of a buiding in front of Wishing Well bar in Angeles City. The restaurant offers unlimited Japanese food. Forgive me but all I have are few photos and not a list of food of what we've eaten. It is the experience I had which I would like to share. Wakanatsu Yakiniku could sit less than a hundred customers, with about ten tables. It is relatively small for a place that offers unlimited food.  It is quiant but I could not say cozy. When we arrived in the restaurant, the first words I heard from the servers were "tanggalin po shoes nyo" ("take off your shoes") and not pleas

LA Girl Pro Conceal Review: Just Exactly Perfect

I just found for myself a perfect go-to concealer which is not exactly expensive yet gives the medium coverage I ever wanted. I bought the Pure Beige shade and the color matches my skin upon application. The product comes in a small tube that would probably last one month of regular use. The LA Girl Pro Conceal HD is easy to apply -- just squeeze the tube and out comes the product from the brush attached to the tube. I sometimes use the brush to spread the concealer on my face but often just use my index ring finger to properly apply and cover my acne scars and blemishes.  It is non-greasy and does crease. I apply it as I use the LA Girl CC cream and then top it with the pressed powder from the same brand. I only re-apply after half a day and before leaving work for home.  Beauty SCORES: * Bad, bad **Good enough *** Lovin' it ****OMG. This is perfect. *****Nothing gets this score. Seriously. LA Girl HD Pro Conceal gets a ****! I am so LOVIN' IT!!!

Aya Says -- Product Review: L- GlutaPower Lightening Lotion

I am so excited to share with you a great product I have been using for about a week now. I am selling L-GlutaPower Lightening Lotion from Royale in my online shop but I got what I am currently using from my friend Larry who is a new member of Royale. I have to show support, you know.  L-GlutaPower Lightening Lotion has exceeded my expectations of a whitening lotion. It gives an instant lightening effect. One would see the difference right away after application because the skin becomes literally white. It would become white if you put a lot of the product on your skin. The product is matte and hard to apply and it sticks to skin right away -- this is the reason why I said your skin would become white. I learned my lesson and combined 1 part of L-GlutaPower Lightening Lotion and 1 part Physiogel AI Lotion (1:1 ratio) so the mix would glide smoothly in my skin. It gives the same lightening effect but better as my skin looks naturally whiter compared to when I use the L-GluPower lotio

Aya's Back!

It's been awhile since I last made an entry in my blog because I've been too busy in my work. There are a lot of things I had to put aside to concentrate in my job, things that I really love like designing accessories for my online shop and blogging.  I understand that I need to keep my 9-5 job to survive but me not having time to write and create jewelry is killing me. I need to create a balance between doing what I love and doing what I am supposed to do. But here I am doing a blog comeback! I also started with my new collection which will soon be posted here and in my online shop Keep Your Sparkle Shop @kysparkleshop in Instagram. Thank you everyone for visiting my blog and for all the emails I've received. Keep the spark alive, y'all! Love, Aya
